nVIUS Graphics is seeking a detail-oriented Graphic Designer / Production Designer to join our team on a part-time, in-office basis. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, efficient, and enjoys the technical side of graphic design — especially when it comes to preparing files for print production.
Our company specializes in prepress services and manufactures photopolymer printing plates used in the packaging industry (bags, labels, etc.). You’ll work directly on production artwork, prepping customer files for press, and supporting the creation of accurate, high-quality print plates.

What You'll Do
- Prepare and modify customer artwork for print production (layout, trapping, color separation, step & repeat, etc.)
- Follow specific printer requirements and technical guidelines for flexographic printing
- Assist in file prep for photopolymer plate output (using Packz software)
- Maintain file organization and job tracking using internal systems
- Communicate with the team to ensure deadlines and accuracy are met
- Assist in quality control for files going to production
What We’re Looking For
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator
- Strong attention to detail — especially in color, alignment, and type
- Solid understanding of print production workflows
- Experience with packaging design, flexo printing, or prepress is a strong plus
- Ability to work independently and efficiently on repetitive production tasks
- Willingness to learn plate production processes and software tools (training provided)
Job Details
- 📍 Location: On-site at our Fyffe, AL office
- 🕒 Schedule: Part-time (15–25 hours/week, flexible daytime hours)
- 💵 Pay: Based on experience ($16–$20/hr typical range)
